MVP Derrick Rose is Adidas's poster boy for their basketball sneakers. The adiZero Rose line is dedicated to the MVP and has gained its fair share of attention. 

As far the shoe is concrened I honestly did not like it much, but that's just me. I'm sure a lot of you out there might really like it. What really surprised me is this print on the shoe that reads "All Flights Cancelled" - this is a direct jab at the Nike Air Jordan line and their "Flight" themed marketing & shoes. 

Nike and Adidas have been in an age old marketing battle but I found this to be a little below the belt. Nike currently holds approximately 33% of the global athletic footwear & apparel market and is the world leader. Trailing behind is Adidas with 22% market share. I've noticed that Adidas has started investing a significant amount of money in advertising (even in India - where Nike has done very little comparitively). But this kinda stunt leaves you with a bad taste and is good only for shock value. 

To have something completely irrelevant like "All Flights Cancelled" printed on basketball sneaker which is dedicated to an athlete is a complete waste. I'm surprised Mr.Rose even agreed to have this on the shoe. Have a look for yourself and let me know what you think.

I gotta admit - Wampa never looked this good. This my fav Star Wars x Adidas sneaker, I love everything about it from faux Wampa fur to the Campus 80s silhouette. Who would've thought Adidas could make this sweet sneakers by taking insipration from the beastly Wampa.

This shoe will not only appeal to the fans but sneaker lovers too, I'm not a big Star Wars fan but I'd totaly rock these bad boys! If you're the kinda person who likes attention then look no further - Adidas Campus 80s Wampa are made espcially for you.

Everyone in the sneaker world knows that Entourage creator Doug Ellin is a Nike SB Dunk fanatic. So it should be no surprise that Nike bought an Entourage dedicated sneaker to life. 

Doug Ellin has been very particular about the shoes each and every character wore during the show. 'Turtle' has always been a sneakerhead and you can see him wear the Dunks and Air Force 1's, also, how can we forget the Fukijama's. 'E' has been a Nike fan throughout, you can see him kick it in the Nike Air Max 95 for most of Season 8. 'Drama' can be wearing loads of trainers and a bunch of Adidas Originals silhouettes. 'Vince' wore Converse Chuck Taylors for almost all of season 1 & 2 along with dressy shoes for special occasions.

The New Entourage inspired SB Dunk bids farewell to the show that defined the current generation. The Shoe features tonal black leather with elephant print detailing. "Entourage" featured on the tongue and insole. I love it when Nike does this - they take a sneaker use some great materials, make tiny changes and turn it around into a premium lifestyle shoe.

They've done it again with this Nike Dunk AC. AC stands for AutoClave which means that the sole has been heat treated to make it slip resistant and durable. Usualy most skate-ready shoes have a similar soles. 

The AC sole gives it a fresh look and when teamed with premium leather you get a winner! Featuring tonal coloring and a retro fat swoosh, this sneaker is sure to jump off the shelves. 

I'm assuming this will be a limited release (Quickstrike/QS) and would be hard to find very soon. I suggest you do yourself a favor and get yourself one of these fly sneakers.

So I did not win the Air Mag (Only If I had an extra $50k ) - I guess I'l have to find solace in these pictures.

The sneakers themselves helped raise over $5.6 million and when we add in the fact that Google co-founder Sergey Brin said he would match whatever Nike raised, we have a Grand Total of over $11 million !!!

Converse has been in a long and (I believe) profitable partnership with designer John Varvatos. They've consistently put out some amazing versions of the beloved Converse silhouettes.

Using some pretty cool materials and colorways, Mr. Varvatos has always put out great sneakers with Converse. Excluding the classic colorways, some of my favorite Converse sneakers have a touch of John Varvatos.

This time around he graces the sneaker with waxed suede to create the upper and gives it a nice vintage look. The sneaker used is the  JV Pro Leather Oxford (High & Low top). These sneakers are already available at the converse store and a bunch of other online retailers for approximately $200!

I love winters and the best part about living in Mumbai is that it doesnt get too cold and its just perfectly pleasant. Awesome sunlight, cool winds, and the evenings are so much more fun.

Now when you read the heading - the first thing that probably comes to mind is big boots with thick lining. But thats not what I'm talking about here. I'm from Mumbai and for us winters arent as cold so when I talk about shoes for a winter evening I mean the colorway. These beautiul Creative Recreation sneakers have the perfect color and style for that special evening. The wool like texture and suede make for a sweet combination on these high tops. 

I've never really owned a pair of Creative Recs but I would highly recommend these shoes to all.

I guess this is my 3rd or 4th post about Nike Vac Tech shoes. You see, I just cant help myself but ogle over these beautiful creations. Perfectly seamless, beautiful colors and last but not least amazing silhouttes. 

If you haven't figured this out already, I love Nike Air force 1 and Dunks, even after over 25 years they make for some amazing sneakers. And the color and texture options! they're just amazing! Even if you dont like the way either of the shoe looks, I recommend trying one on, I'm certain it'll change your mind. 

The way these sneakers look after wearing is amazing. They've made a believer out of me - when in doubt wear the one of these and you cant go wrong! 

This Nike Sportswear (Nike Sportswear = Sports inspired Lifestyle line) Vac Tech pack come with tonal colorways and use some really premium materials including suede, leather and wool. If you're looking at buying sneakers wait till next month and go for these. 

Make no mistake - these will make you look good!
